Valentine's Day Nails Plus A Spring Giveaway!

Happy Valentine's Day!  Are you wearing anything special on your nails today?  I wanted to do something a little less cutesy than my Barielle manicure the other day. Perhaps some "grown up" hearts? Is that even possible?   Here's what I came up with:

First, I used Zoya Minka for the nude base, and then painted the "v"/hearts on with CND's Just Red from the Red Hot Duo. 

Then I felt kind of sorry for the poor, lonely Red Sparkle Effect sitting alone in the Red Hot Duo box. Yes, I said I wanted "grown up" hearts, but really- you know me- I crave glitter. I said 'screw it' and went for it. Instead of keeping it only on the red part of my design, I chose to go with an even layer over the entire nail, nude polish included. It reminds me of being a little kid, making valentines and getting glitter ALL.OVER.THE.PLACE!  :)
